New ways of speaking, doing things, customs and bureaucracy.
In this group we hope to answer all of your questions – big or small – that you may have about Irish culture, its customs, how to find your way around the country and any paperwork you might need to complete.
Or maybe you are just wondering why Irish people are so obsessed with the weather in a country that is so rainy or why we appear to be bad at turning up on time for things….
We are open for all of these kind of conversations too!
We have now reached the end of the secondary school year and we will shut down these meetings for a while. Come back to us in August for advice and information.
Support for parents of Secondary school children. Help to navigate the system and with anything you might have forgotten!
This is a challenging time for all school students and their parents – particularly those sitting state exams. At the Secondary School Chat we will support parents and guardians with any specific queries they may have on secondary school subjects or issues related to the second level system in Ireland.
We will also guide you to the many helpful resources available to assist parents and their children at this time in their studies and also in relation to their leisure time.
